Established for over 30 years the Cheshire Steam Fair is one of the main steam events in Cheshire.
The venue, at Daresbury near Warrington, has excellent road access from the M56 and M6 motorways.
To enter the Cheshire Steam Fair for Train Rides with the WDMES, there is an admission fee to the Steam Fair Event – you can buy tickets in Advanced/Early Bird at reduced rates from Outdoor Shows from there website:
WDMES at the Cheshire Steam Fair
Warrington and District Model Engineers Society is set to feature at the fair, Providing train rides throughout the weekend
Among the attractions, the society is offering rides through the Daresbury countryside on models of famous steam trains such as the Flying Scotsman and the Duchess of Abercorn
Train rides are available the Saturday to Sunday of the Cheshire Steam Fair from 10am to 4pm for a set donation fee.
Please note: Train Rides provided by WDMES is a “pay as you ride” attraction and the ride fee is separate from the event ticket/entrance fee due to being operated by the WDMES and not Outdoor Shows.
Whats on at the Cheshire Steam Fair
Performing in the main arena will be the West Lancs Dog Display Team. This show features numerous dog breeds showcasing their obedience whilst completing agility courses and obstacles. One of the highlights is the large fire jumps that are sure to amaze and entertain the crowd.
Also performing throughout the weekend will be Ken Fox and his Team in the incredible Wall of Death, if you have not had the chance to see this show before, we highly recommend you check it out… you will not be disappointed!
A full programme of top steam fair attractions including: Steam Engines, Classic Cars, Vintage Tractors, Classic Motorcycles, Fairground Organs, Miniature Steam Engines, Stationary Engines and Vintage Commercials.
The event will also include: Trade Stands, Autojumble, Craft and Fine Food Marquee, Old Time and Modern Funfair, Non-stop Arena Entertainment, Catering & Licensed Bar.
